Vision: Create a healthy student lifestyle by educating and creating awareness about influenza, influenza vaccinations, and non-vaccination methods, such as hand-washing, proper hygiene, and social etiquette to prevent the spread of influenza.
Mission: Educate the Truman community about influenza and the importance of influenza vaccinations and non-vaccination methods.
Goals:
1. Increase the knowledge of influenza on Truman's campus.
2. Reduce the incidence of influenza on Truman's campus.
3. Increase the number of individuals on Truman's campus receiving the influenza vaccination.
Impact objective: By the end of the flu season at least 25% more individuals in the Truman population will get the flu shot.
Outcome objective: By the end of 2021, influenza cases on campus will decrease by 30%.
